What is AiVisibility and why it was created
Search has changed. More and more users ask AI tools and get ready-made recommendations. But businesses didn’t have a simple way to see whether—and how often—AI recommends them, or whether their visibility is going up or down month to month after site improvements (e.g., content, structure, reviews, citations) that increase the likelihood of being recommended by AI.
AiVisibility is a measurement & reporting tool that makes this measurable. It shows a website’s presence in AI recommendations, with separate scores per engine (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) and a Search Region option: City or Country.
What you see (in simple terms)
- AI Visibility Score per AI engine (ChatGPT / Gemini / Perplexity).
- Trend: how your performance changes month to month.
- Avg Position: the “order” you appear in the recommendations (where supported).
- Improvement suggestions: practical guidance to strengthen your presence.
- Time-to-Report: how long it takes for the report to be prepared. Once the process is completed, you’re notified by email.
How we measure
We use a set of relevant questions that work as an “ecosystem.” The result is aggregated (an average across the full set) per AI engine, so you can do consistent monitoring and comparisons over time.
Search region
The Search Region is set from the beginning so the results remain comparable:
- Local: one city/area.
- Country: nationwide measurement (avoids “the closest” type of answers).
